The Best Care in the Best Place, Home

There are many reasons to have a veterinarian come to your home. Regardless of your reason there are a few things you should know:

  • ⁂ We NEVER provide emergency or surgical care

  • ⁂All of our care is provided on your property
  • We do not have an office or mobile facility

  • ⁂ Multiple visits may be required to complete services as our goal is to minimize stress and fear.

⁂ We require a deposit equal to the cost of your appointment (not the cost of services) in order to confirm your appointment. This will be applied to the balance at the time of the appointment. However if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or are not at home when we arrive this deposit is not refundable.

⁂ Your pet is most comfortable with you. We ask that you assist us by holding your pet for care. If you are not comfortable with this or are unwilling to see blood or injections please alert us prior to booking your appointment.

We look forward to caring for your pet soon!

BEFORE THE VISIT

Be ready and present for the visit. We can only provide care if you and your pet are present. We want to collaborate with you to provide the care that fits your needs and the needs of your pet.

Please clear an area for our team to work. For small pets this can be a coffee or dining table, but for large pets we will need an area of floor free from objects and furniture.

If you prefer to complete the visit outside your pet will need to be wearing a collar or harness and a leash, even in a fenced in yard.

Review any treatment recommendations or documents we provided prior to your visit. This means we can focus on your pet, provide individualized care while keeping stress to a minimum.

DURING THE VISIT

During the appointment we will discuss a full history for your pet including prior medical care, behavior, diet, environment, and any concerns or changes. After a full physical exam the doctor with work with you to create a treatment plan (including cost) that works best for you and your pet.

Once a plan as been developed, care will be provided with an emphasis on minimizing stress and fear. Any medication with be dispensed or ordered through our online pharmacy.

We will schedule your next visit either in person or via telemedicine at the conclusion of your appointment.

Payment is due at the time of service.

AFTER THE VISIT

A visit summary explaining the care provided and recommendations made will be emailed to you at the end of the visit or shortly there after. Any documents will be included in your pet's medical records and available through the pet portal.

We will contact you with the results of any pending diagnostic once the results have been received. For most tests this is the next business day, but some advanced diagnostics may take several days.

Recommended prescriptions will be available for 30 days following the appointment. However, you can request medication through the pharmacy at any time.

You can always reach us by email, phone, or through the patient portal. We respond within 24 hours on business days.
